The UN promises to help with the implementation of Taza Coom project, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated yesterday.
He reiterated the importance of this intention and praised for its striving for democracy.
Antonio Guterres said that the relevant international financial organizations, in particular the World Bank, ADB, will help with money, as their representatives announced today at the forum. Assistance will also be provided by the UN sub-structural units.
In his turn, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev stressed that the participation of the UN Secretary- General in yesterday’s forum is evidence of the support of this project.
Almazbek Atambayev added that Antonio Guterres became a true friend of and his personal one. He recalled that the strongest in the country are people who should be counted on, since we have neither oil nor gas, and cited and as examples, which successfully develop without these natural resources.
