«Effective development of trade and economic development contributes to the strengthening of stability and security in the region and the time has come to establish the SCO bank," the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev said today at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana.
Almazbek Atambayev noted that Kyrgyzstan is one of the founders of the SCO, and drew attention to the fact that even from that time and today he insists that the SCO bank should be established and located in Bishkek.
The head of also touched upon the construction of — — railway, noting that the deepening of integration processes is impossible without the development of the infrastructure that is proposed in the global idea «One Belt, One Road.»
«These ideas coinside with the SCO development strategy until 2025 and with the UN agenda in the field and sustainable development for the period until this connection, I would like to once again note the importance of the construction of — — railway.
