The journalist of 24.kg news agency was hit by a policeman standing in cordon near the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
Nargiza Tokoeva went to court to cover the trial of supporters of former parliament member Sadyr Japarov.
She tried to enter the building, but the officers of the Interior Department of Pervomaisky district blocked the entrance. When the correspondent tried to pass, one of them hit her in the chest. Nargiza Tokoyeva fell down.
The trial of Japarov’s supporters is open for the press, but, for some reason, the judge did not allow a number of media representatives to attend the hearing.
Interior Department of Pervomaisky district of the capital, as well as in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, do not comment on the behavior of their employee.
