According to him, the previous UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Kofi Annan met with representatives of the civil society when they came to .

«But now the Foreign Affairs Ministry left our request without attention. Cholpon Dzhakupova, Aziza Abdirasulova, Tolekan Ismailova and Dinara Oshurahunova insist on the meeting with Antonio Guterres. We have something to tell him, in particular about violations of human rights and judicial arbitrariness, pressure on freedom of speech and political persecution," Adil Turdukulov said.

Civil activists will hold a rally in front of the UNDP building in protest on June 10 — the day of the arrival of the head of the United Nations.

Adil Turdukulov added that the protesters want to give Antonio Guterres evidence of the negative processes that are taking place in the country.
