In 2016, more than ten large industrial enterprises started operating in Leninsky district of Bishkek; more than 550 jobs were created. The head of the district Nurdin Tynaev announced this today at the regular session of the City Council.
There have been established enterprises for the production of LED lamps, aluminum radiators, hosiery and sausage products, the manufacture of refractory products, wholesale trade companies.
According to Tynaev, a part of the previously opened enterprises is idle or does not work at full capacity, since there are no orders, or there is a lack of working capital. At the same time, there is a high competition, the equipment is obsolete, and the loan rates in commercial banks are high. At least 118 business entities were closed for the year, 80 percent of which were individual entrepreneurs.
Reports of heads of district administrations for 2016 are discussed during the meeting.
