Official opening of the renewed Ken — Bulun-Avtodorozhniy border checkpoint will take place today on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border near Druzhba village in Chui region.

As the director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Baktybek Abdiev told, the construction of the checkpoint began in September 2016. At least 27 million soms were spent on its construction from the republican budget.

«The border crossing point was built as part of 's accession to EEU on the instructions of the Prime Minister of the . Employees can serve 5,000 people and 700 cars in a day," the director of the state agency Baktybek Abdiev said.
