The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft of a new version of the Law «On State Benefits in the Kyrgyz Republic," the conclusion was submitted to the Parliament for consideration, the Information Support Department of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, the draft law was developed as an alternative to measures to exclude pensions from family incomes when assigning benefits to poor families with children and provides for the provision of state support to families with children in a fixed amount.
The adoption of the bill will improve the situation of children living in the republic, strengthen families with children and elderly citizens who receive pensions, increase the coverage of children living in poverty with state benefits, create conditions for the early development of children regardless of the level of their families' income, qualitative and competitive labor resources, eliminate corruption risks in the appointment and payment of benefits.
