One more suspect of April 2010 looting detained

The investigation of looting after April 7, 2010 events continues, one more suspect was detained. The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, a Kyrgyz citizen, 38-year-old Timur Otorbaev, who was wanted by law enforcement agencies since January 2013 for committing crimes under Articles «Unauthorized seizure of residential and non-residential premises, buildings and structures», «Forging of documents» and «Fraud» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, was detained.

According to investigators, Otorbaev is accused of illegal seizure of a building on Kievskaya Street, 74, previously owned by Maxim Bakiyev, and illegal taking of the apartment of Aleksey Eliseev with a plot of land with a total area of ​​0, after April 7, 2010 events together with Erlan Madylbekov (the son of Turatbek Madylbekov, the former deputy of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic) and some Nazarkulov (he is wanted). According to GKNB, Timur Otorbaev also illegally sold buildings and facilities in Bishkek.

Pervomaiskiy District Court of Bishkek chose a preventive measure in the form of detention until the end of the investigation for Timur Otorbaev.

Timur Otorbaev previously worked in the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of the , was an assistant to the deputy of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and, through his patronage, passed a competitive selection with subsequent employment at the State Service for Economic Crimes Control.
