Photo exhibition “Unique Russia” opens in Bishkek

Photo exhibition «Unique Russia» was opened on Ala-Too Square in Bishkek.

There are 60 best works of photojournalists of «Rossiyskaya Gazeta," telling about Russia, which can’t be seen from TV screen or from the car window.

The opening ceremony was attended by the mayor of Bishkek Albek Ibraimov, vice mayor Aigul Ryskulova, as well as Andrey Pershin, deputy editor-in-chief of the editorial staff of the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper.

«The place for the exhibition is great. A large number of people will be able to see it, discover some new pages about the country, or they may want to come to Russia," Andrey Pershin said.

The exhibition is timed to the 15th anniversary of the Central Asian representative office of Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Andrey Pershin thanked the city authorities for their help in organizing the exposition and noted that today he and the mayor signed a memorandum of further cooperation.

We hope that many more interesting and useful joint actions will be held in Bishkek and Moscow, which will strengthen the multilateral ties between our countries.

Andrey Pershin

The photo exhibition will last until June 10.
