Plant for production of vaccines from Russian raw materials to be built in KR

The plant for the production of vaccines and diagnostic materials for animals from Russian raw materials will be built in Chui region of Kyrgyzstan, near Tokmak town, the Foundation for Infrastructure and Educational Programs informed 24.kg news agency.

Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov took part in the discussion of this issue.

To help in solving this problem, in June 2016, with the participation of the fund there was launched a joint project on building a factory in Kyrgyzstan for production of a vaccine against murrain from Russian raw materials — the «bulk product." The design capacity of the future plant is 30 million doses per year.

It is noted that by agreement with the State Material Reserves Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, the territory of the former flour mill with an area of ​​more than 8 ha has been allocated for the plant. In July, the terms of reference will be prepared and the design of the future enterprise will begin.

Construction of the plant is scheduled for October 2017.
