Border guards deport 114 people for five months of 2017

For five months of 2017,  more than 1,500 people in Kyrgyzstan were identified with defective documents, 114 people were deported. The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

According to it, during this period, the state border was crossed by about 3.5 million people and about 220,000 units of transport. 57 people were detained for violation of the state border, more than 76 facts of violations of the state border regime were recorded.

«Border guards detained smuggling for a total of more than 12 million soms, identified and seized seven weapons, ammunition for small arms and hunting weapons, as well as two facts of drug discovery were recorded," the report said.
