Rules for stay of Kyrgyz citizens during FIFA Confederations Cup specified

The rules for the stay of Kyrgyz citizens in Russia during the FIFA Confederations Cup are being specified. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia reported.

Earlier, the President of the Russian Federation issued a decree on strengthening security measures during the FIFA Confederations Cup in the Russian Federation in the period from June 1 to July 12, 2017.

The document also prescribes the registration of foreign citizens in the cities of Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi in the specified period.

The diplomatic mission is consulting with the Russian side on this issue, taking into account the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the agreement between the two countries on the procedure for the stay of Kyrgyz citizens on the territory of Russia and citizens of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

«At the moment, there has been no official notification from the Russian side about the changes in the order of stay of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Russia," the diplomatic mission said.
