State debt of Kyrgyzstan increases by $ 95 million and renews historical maximum

The state debt of Kyrgyzstan grew by $ 95 million in the first quarter of 2017 and updated the historical maximum. Such data was peresented by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It was noted that as of March 31, its size was $ 4, 160 billion, or 285, 461, 89 billion soms. The external debt formed in the amount of $ 3, 803.97 billion (260, 978, 59 billion soms), and domestic — $ 356.86 million (24,483.30 billion soms).

At the same time, it was noted that the external debt is 52.8 percent of GDP, and the entire state debt is 57.7 percent. According to the Central Treasury, for the four months of 2017, at least 7, 507.4 billion soms were spent on the repayment of the public debt of Kyrgyzstan.
