Since the beginning of the year, Guarantee Fund OJSC issued 49 guarantees for 57.1 million soms. Malik-Aidar Abakirov, chairman of its board, told journalists today.
According to him, guarantees were issued for projects in agriculture, manufacturing, trade and tourism infrastructure, transport activities, processing of agricultural products.
Entrepreneurs, engaged in agriculture, issued 22 guarantees for 9.6 million soms. Due to this, they received loans in the amount of 29.3 million soms. People took loans to increase the number of dairy and meat livestock and crop production.
With the help of the Guarantee Fund, small and medium-sized businesses received loans for 226 million soms.
In the processing industry, 8 guarantees were issued for 19.6 million soms, 10 guarantees - for 18.2 million soms; in the transport sector — 2 guarantees for 722,500 soms, in the processing of agricultural products — one guarantee for 390,000 soms and in the sphere of services — one guarantee for 250,000 soms.
Guarantee Fund is interested in further development of cooperation with commercial banks. Today, agreements have been concluded with seven banks. Given the progressive development, it is already clear that the existing capital of 282 million soms is not enough for further support of entrepreneurs. It is expected that by the end of 2017, the company will issue guarantees for more than 300 million soms," Malik-Aidar Abakirov said.
