Onuguu-Progress, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan and Ata Jurt violate rules of campaigning

The parties Onuguu-Progress, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan and Ata Jurt violate the rules of election campaign in Jalal-Abad, the CEC of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency with reference to Jalal-Abad Electoral Commission.

According to the commission, all three political organizations were warned for violation of the rules of the placement of campaign materials. Participants of local elections are recommended to remove agitation posters within three days from lampposts and fences of private houses.

On April 14, 2017, the President of the country signed a decree on the dissolution of the Jalal-Abad city council. Its deputies failed to elect the mayor of Jalal-Abad.

On May 28, there will be repeat elections to the city council. Ata Jurt, SDPK, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan, Onuguu-Progress, Respublika and Butun Kyrgyzstan claim for 31 seats in the local city council.
