Producers of Kyrgyzstan not complying with regulations to be fined

Manufacturers who do not comply with technical regulations will be fined in the amount of up to 100,000 soms. The Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov said today at a press conference.

According to him, if it is revealed that the declaration of conformity of products is unreliable, sanctions will be applied to producers.

Failure to comply with technical regulations is punishable by fines up to 100,000 soms, depending on the severity of the violation.

Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use, Kuban Myrakanov added that trainings on the compliance with the regulations would be held for entrepreneurs.

«We understand that the garment industry is export-oriented. We received approval upon the arrival of EEU specialists, who will conduct seminars and explain the innovations to the clothing manufacturers," he said.
