Producers of Kyrgyzstan need to confirm quality of their products

Producers of Kyrgyzstan need to confirm the quality of their products, Vice Prime Minister Oleg Pankratov said today at a press conference.

According to him, technical regulations touch upon the safety of food. Agricultural products include veterinary and phytosanitary norms. Nothing will change for those, who export fruits and vegetables.

He explained in detail what would change for the producers of Kyrgyzstan with the entry into force of the new 18 regulations.

«To sell products, it must be safe. This is written in the technical regulations. After the manufacture of products, its quality must be confirmed by a declaration of conformity. Products should be tested in accredited laboratories," Oleg Pankratov said.

 Kyrgyzstan already has 35 such laboratories and 10 centers for conformity assessment.
