Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev signed the Law «On Lotteries," the information policy department of the presidential office reported.
According to him, the document was adopted by the parliament on March 30, 2017 and defines the legal basis for state regulation of relations in the sphere of lottery activity, including types and types of lotteries, goals, requirements and procedures for their organization and conduct.
The law comes into force 30 days after the day of its official publication.
Since the introduction of the new law, licenses for the implementation of lottery activities issued before its entry into force cease to have effect.
In addition, the head of state signed amendments to some legislative acts in the sphere of regulating lottery activities, also adopted by the parliament on March 30, 2017.
As noted, the amendments bring separate norms of the legislation of the in the field of regulating lottery activity into accordance with the new Law «On Lotteries.»
The law comes into force after 30 days from the date of its official publication, the report said.
