The action «Veterans of the war in against terror» was launched in the Batken oblast on May 12, 2017, the Republican Council of War Veterans in reported.

The main goal is to counteract the recruitment of young people into the ranks of various extremist, religious and separatist organizations, propaganda of military traditions and the heroic history of the actions of the Limited contingent of Soviet troops in and military-patriotic education of the Armed Forces and youth, the report said.
Within the framework of the action veterans intend to hold the same meetings with youth and the public in all seven regions of the country, including the cities of and Bishkek.
