Landslide in Uzgen district covers 45 houses, obstetric station, mosque

A landslide in Uzgen district of Osh region covered houses and smashed down electric poles. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, on May mass of soil, which descended between Kurbu-Tash and Marks villages of Jalpak-Tash rural area, covered 45 houses, an obstetric station, a mosque and 35 electric poles, a rural cemetery and the foundation of a school.

There are four social objects and 61 houses in the territory. The movement of the ground mass is under constant observation, the report says.
