Veterans of Great Patriotic War granted one-time allowance – 15,000

In Kyrgyzstan, veterans of the Great Patriotic War were granted one-time allowance — 15,000 soms. Every year, this assistance is given from the country’s budget by May 9 to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

In 2017, 42.9 million soms were transferred to the account of district / city departments of social development.

Since 2010, veterans of the Great Patriotic War receive monthly monetary compensation in return for benefits in the amount of 7,000 soms. Veterans also receive a monthly scholarship of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the amount of 10,000 soms a month. The average size of the pensions of veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Kyrgyzstan is about seven thousand soms.
