Repair of Bishkek-Kara-Balta road should be completed before May 20. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov reminded the builders and contractors.
According to him, Bishkek-Kara-Balta road is strategic and one of the busiest in the country. «Taking this into account, it was decided to start capital reconstruction of this highway and expand the roadway. Significant financial resources have been allocated for these purposes, control over the use of which, as well as the quality of work, will be the toughest," Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted.
The Prime Minister stressed that the tender patching repair work should be completed in time: until May 20.
«Ten days later, I will personally check the progress of work and the readiness of the contractor company to start the work on the reconstruction of Bishkek-Kara-Balta highway. Considering the significance of this highway for the whole republic, reconstruction work should be carried out around the clock. At the same time, the work and its quality must meet the highest standards," the head of the Cabinet said.

Director of the department of weight and dimensional control at the Ministry of Transport and Roads Emilbek Tashtanaliev said that 260 employees of weight control offices, who were found guilty of corruption and bribery, were dismissed as part of the fight against corruption.
