MES of Kyrgyzstan inspects villages hit by earthquake

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan inspect the villages that suffered from the earthquake. Press service of the ministry reported.

According to it, 281 houses have already been checked. It was preliminary established that 66 buildings are in emergency state. 215 houses have small cracks. Six social facilities were also examined, four of which are in emergency condition (two first-aid station buildings, Kyrgyz post office and the school).

In addition, stones collapsed in the mountainous area, 110 sheep were killed.

Minister of Emergency Situations Kubatbek Boronov left for the emergency area. Residents of the affected villages set up tents and yurts next to residential buildings.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the Kyrgyz Republic, there were 6 tremors with a force of 4–4.5 points during the day.
