Kyrgyzstanis suffer from earthquake in south of country

People suffered from the earthquake that occurred today in the south of Kyrgyzstan, buildings were damaged, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to it, a shed wall fell on the local resident as a result of tremors at 10.47 am in the village of Chuluk, Dzhekendin rural district of Chon-Alai. His neighbors rescued him. Two girls are under stress, they are provided medical help.

The earthquake in the village of Karamyk of the same rural district resulted in cracks on the walls of ten houses, the buildings were considered to be dangerous for living.

The building of the local hospital is also damaged. It is considered to be unfit for further use.

The kindergarten and school buildings received minor damage and are suitable for use, the report said.

Currently, examination of buildings continues, the department noted.
