Russia returns more than 161 tons of products from Kyrgyzstan in April

Novosibirsk region returned 161.15 tons of products from Kyrgyzstan in April, Rosselkhoznadzor department of the region reported.

According to its data, 355 tons of fruit and vegetable products from Kazakhstan, 50.43 tons of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan and 18 tons of Chinese pepper also were not allowed to pass. The products were trasported by road from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to the recipients in Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk.

When carrying out quarantine phytosanitary control, it was established that the products of high phytosanitary risk, among which were apples, lemons, tomatoes, cabbage, beets, radish, parsley, greens, peanuts, rice croups, were transported without documents confirming phytosanitary safety, or lacked marking on packages.

The cargo was returned to the senders in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
