Radioactive cars from Japan to be decontaminated

Radioactive cars from Japan will be decontaminated, the State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

«Decontamination began on April 20. Cars will be transported to the disposal of radioactive waste in the Sokuluk district for subsequent decontamination. Upon completion, an examination and signing of the conclusion of the interdepartmental commission is provided," the message of the State Customs Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic states.

After inspection, decontaminated cars can be returned to the owners for registration.
