Elevated bridge to be built in Bishkek

The scheme of reconstruction of Fuchik Street in Bishkek is prepared. The head of the Leninsky district Nurdin Tynayev told journalists about it yesterday.

«We have started the first stage — the reconstruction of Fuchik segment from Moscow Street to the Tovarnaya. This work is planned till the end of 2017. A new roadbed will be completely laid with the installation of irrigation networks, sidewalks, replacement of heating systems," he said.

«Next, we plan to use the Chinese grant to begin construction of an elevated bridge in 2018, which will pass through the railway and Tolstoy Street. This will give us the opportunity to further extend this to Bach Street. This is done to unload the traffic that moves through the railway crossing," Nurdin Tynaev added.

Secondly, it will give an opportunity to freely drive along Fuchik Street to the upper part of the city, including the Ala-Archa gorge. That is, one no longer has to stop in the city center and drive through the Manas Avenue. It will be very convenient.

Bishkek has no such elevated bridges. The work is very complicated. State Architecture and Construction Agency now conducts calculations, develops sketches. Next year, we plan to start construction," the head noted.

In general, in 2017, overhaul of more than 30 roads in the Leninsky district is planned.
