«Akram Azimov, the elder brother of the alleged organizer of the terrorist attack in the metro of St. Petersburg Abror Azimov, was deported from Kyrgyzstan to Russia," the younger brother of the suspect, Bilal Azimov, told Interfax.
According to him, Akram was taken from to . «He was detained in and deported to , since he is a Russian citizen. Akram has to be operated in , he had a cyst in his head," Bilal added, noting that their father intended to hire lawyers for his sons and turned to human rights activists.
As Bilal told, the older brothers bought a land plot in Jalal-Abad, in the south of , and wanted to start building a house this year. «Akram arrived earlier. We waited for Abror to begin construction," Bilal Azimov added.
According to the neighbors, Abror’s grandfather was a well-known local theologian, worked for many years as an imam in the mosques of the region, and the mother, Vazira Azimova, studied in a madrasah. In general, the family adhered to traditional religious views and has never been radical.
