Economic growth of Kyrgyzstan planned at 3.5 percent in 2017

The growth in the economy of  in 2017, according to the macroeconomic forecast, is planned at the level of 3.5 percent. The Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the meeting of Respublika-Ata Jurt faction.

According to the estimates of the Eurasian Economic Commission, this is the highest rate among EEU countries.

As the Prime Minister noted, according to preliminary results of the first quarter of 2017, GDP growth reached 7.8 percent (in 2016 — 6.4 percent).

In his speech, the head of government noted that Kyrgyzstan had the lowest average annual inflation rate (100.4 percent) among EEU countries in 2016.
