The presidential elections in should be held on August 27 under the Constitution, and not on November 19, as previously the press service of Almazbek Atambayev reported. This was announced today at a press conference by MP Almambet Shykmamatov.

The CEC needs 20 days to count votes, three days to publish the results. Up to 30 days are given for taking the oath. This is without taking into account the second round of elections, appealing the election results.
