Car mechanic dies at Kumtor mine

A car mechanic died at Kumtor gold mine in Kyrgyzstan. The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union Eldar Tadzhibaev informed 24.kg news agency.

The accident occurred the day before. A 29-year-old heavy equipment mechanic of the enterprise reportedly got under the wheels of a heavy truck.

A commission has been set up. The State Inspectorate for Technical and Ecological Safety finds out causes of the accident.
