Kyrgyzstan spends more and more funds on repayment of state debt

5.4 billion soms were spent from the budget during two months of 2017 to pay off the state debt of Kyrgyzstan. The Central Treasury of the Ministry of Finance says.

Compared to the same period of 2016, the debt servicing expenses increased 2.3 times. In January-February of 2016, at least 2.3 billion soms were spent on this.

Most of the funds were spent on repayment of the domestic debt — 2, 881 billion soms. 2,569 billion soms were spent on external debt. This is three times more than in early 2016.
