Kyrgyzstan improves its position in tourism competitiveness index

has improved its position in the global tourism competitiveness index, the World Economic Forum, which makes the rating, reported.

According to it, improved its position by 1 point, taking 115^th place. In 2015, the republic had the 116^th place.

The rating is published every two years, starting from 2017, it included 136 countries, which were evaluated on 14 positions associated with the reception of tourists. It includes historical and cultural heritage, development of economy, transport, hotel sector, communications, medicine, favorable state policy for the tourism industry and much more.

As for the post-Soviet countries, has the best position (37^th), then goes .  (54 place) is the third, the fourth — (56 place), the fifth — (70 place). They are followed by  (71^st place), (81^st place), (88^th place), (107^th place). closes the top ten.
