Supporters of Sadyr Japarov hold rally near White House in Bishkek

Supporters of the arrested former parliament deputy Sadyr Japarov hold a rally at the White House in Bishkek.

There are only seven people now: the family of Japarov, his wife and the wives of the arrested relatives of the former deputy. They hold the posters «Freedom to the son of the people," «Japarov’s life in danger," «Freedom for illegally detained children.»

«There won’t be more people. We ask the deputies of the Parliament to consider the issue. We quietly and peacefully hold a protest," Aigul Japarova said.

Sadyr Japarov recently resided in Cyprus. Upon his arrival in Bishkek, he was detained on the border with Kazakhstan and taken to the State National Security Committee for interrogation in the criminal case on taking Emilbek Kaptagaev hostage in 2013.

On the same day, his supporters held a rally near the building of the State Committee demanding the release of the ex-deputy. Special forces dispersed the participants of the protest.
