Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan dissatisfied with field work of state agencies

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan is dissatisfied with the field work of the state agencies. He stated this at a meeting of the Council for Business and Investment Development. Information Support Department of the Government’s Executive Office of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that one of the main tasks of the government is to create the most favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

«The government will continue to work closely with business to eliminate bureaucratic barriers as much as possible, to exclude non-market methods of state regulation and to prevent unreasonable inspections. President Almazbek Atambayev set the task of creating the most favorable conditions for business in the country," the Prime Minister said.

He stressed that the necessary laws, other regulatory legal acts and decisions aimed at supporting business are being adopted at the republican level, but there is inaction of state agencies in this direction.

Entrepreneurs still do not feel the proper support of local authorities in the regions. Heads of state bodies in the field have to work more closely with entrepreneurs.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov

In his opinion, councils for business development and investment should be created in all areas of the country. He instructed to regularly hold special seminars for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the regions.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov reminded that the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund is ready to support the projects of rural entrepreneurs. The Prime Minister instructed plenipotentiary representatives of the government in the regions to step up work on the implementation of the law on public-private partnership, which opens great opportunities for both government agencies and business representatives.
