Russian MFA thanks KR for solidarity in connection with terrorist attack

Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov yesterday, on April 4, at a meeting with Kyrgyz Foreign Affairs Minister Erlan Abdyldaev expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown in connection with the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg, the press service of the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

«First of all, before we start the opening of the exhibition, I would like to once again express our gratitude to our Kyrgyz friends and allies for their solidarity in connection with the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg. I am convinced that this once again tells us about the need to further strengthen joint efforts to counter this world evil," Sergey Lavrov said.

Recall, Foreign Affairs Minister Erlan Abdyldaev held a meeting with Sergey Lavrov in Moscow and took part in the opening of an exhibition of archival documents dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The Russian Foreign Affairs Minister added that «the joint fight against terrorism and other manifestations of organized crime — drug trafficking, human trafficking — is part of our cooperation.»
