1,500 mosques registered in Kyrgyzstan for 3 years

1,500 mosques have been registered in  from 2014 till 2017. The report of the Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksat azhi Toktomushev at the sixth kurultai of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan said.

According to it, at present there are 2,783 mosques in the country, 2, 408 of them have been registered by state.

The Mufti also told that the largest in  mosque named after Mahmud Kashgari was built in Bishkek. This year it is also planned to finish the construction of another large mosque.
