Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Russia hold talks in Moscow

The Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev and Russia Sergey Lavrov held talks in Moscow, the Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia reported.

It was noted that Erlan Abdyldaev has been in Moscow since April 2 at the invitation of Sergey Lavrov. During the talks, the Foreign Ministers discussed the activation of bilateral ties in various fields, including taking into account the agreements reached during the official visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan. The sides also discussed prospects for deepening cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The agenda of the meeting included consideration of issues of military and military-technical cooperation, further development of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

«Moscow is sure that the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Kyrgyzstan will serve to further strengthen bilateral ties in a wide range of areas, deepen cooperation between the two countries in the interests of developing integration associations in the Eurasian space, ensuring social and economic stability and security in Central Asia," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation noted.
