In 2014, Electric Stations JSC sold electricity to  for 5 tyiyn per kilowatt-hour. An expert Rasul Umbetaliev said this today at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.

According to him, this was the way of goods exchange. 600 million cubic meters of water were spent to generate 200 million kilowatt-hours. The damage amounted to more than 60 million soms. At that time, electricity cost 4 cents per kilowatt-hour.

He added that this year it is possible to export 1 billion kilowatt-hours, as the volume of the Toktogul reservoir will reach the highest design mark. The minimum price must be at least 5 cents.
