Strong Russia should follow example of small Kyrgyzstan

«Strong Russia should follow an example of small Kyrgyzstan," the Speaker of the Parliament Chynybai Tursunbekov, speaking at event to the memory of the dead on April 7, 2010 in Bishkek, quoted one of the high-ranking officials of the Russian Federation as he said in Bishkek after seeing the high level of parliamentary elections in 2015.

According to him, the development of democracy in Kyrgyzstan after the April events is highly appreciated in European countries.

«Just two days ago, I came from St. Petersburg which hosted a meeting of the parliamentary assembly of the CIS countries and international conferences. And there I met with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Union Pedro Agamuk, who told me that Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia, which is following the bright way. And the head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly said: «Your path is an example to others, and this is our pride, which you have brought," Parliament Speaker Chynybai Tursunbekov said.

As he noted, the people won’t allow some forces to destroy the reached by the April revolution.
