MP warns against possible border conflict with Kazakhstan

According to him, in the spring, villagers face with a serious problem of soil losses of agricultural land.

«I met with the residents of Vasilievka in Alamudun district of Chui region. The number one problem they have is soil losses to the . Residents of Vasilievka are desperate and ready to return land from the territory of a neighboring state to  independently, which can lead to a border conflict," he said at a meeting of the Parliament.

Parkhat Tulendybayev noted that bank protection works along the Chui region have begun.

According to him, the Ministry of Emergency in 2013 developed a master plan for the protection of the left bank of the river from Tokmak.
