Inflow of remittances to Kyrgyzstan growing compared to 2016

In comparison with January-February 2016, the inflow of money transfers to Kyrgyzstan in the first two months of 2017 increased. Chairman of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov told journalists.

He noted that the net inflow is estimated at almost $ 201 million. Last year, the figure was $ 125 million. The growth amounted to 61.1 percent.

Compared to December 2016, remittances volume is still smaller. In January 2017, it amounted to $ 97.6 million and decreased compared to December 2016 by $ 27.1 million.
