Supporters of Ata Meken hold rally at the Old Square in Bishkek. About 50 people gathered for the protest. They hold posters and flags of the party.

Asiya Sasykbaeva speaks before the audience. There are deputies of the Parliament Bolot Sher-Niyaz, Almambet Shykmatatov and civil activists Rita Karasartova and Adil Turdukulov.

The place of the rally is cordoned off by the police. Fences were installed.

The protesters said they won’t leave until the decision of the Supreme Court on the measure of restraint for Omurbek Tekebayev is announced.

The Bishkek City Court, having upheld the decision of the Pervomaiskiy District Court, left the politician in custody until April 25.

Omurbek Tekebayev was imprisoned in the GKNB pre-trial detention facility until April 25. He is accused of corruption and fraud.
