Summer tourist season in Issyk-Kul to open on May 6

The opening of the summer tourist season on Issyk-Kul will be held on May 6–7 at the racetrack in the village of Baktuu-Dolonotu near Cholpon-Ata, the executive director of the Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Moldonaliev told 24.kg news agency.

«The purpose of this ceremony is to establish business ties between the tourist industry of different countries, as well as to attract a significant number of foreign tourists for recreation in the region. We intend to contribute to the development of bilateral relations," Bakyt Moldonaliev said.

Traditionally, the festival and fair Issyk-Kul ITF 2017 will be held, where representatives of the tourism business will be able to interact with each other.

Recall, the opening of the tourist season and the fair are held in Issyk-Kul every year. Last year, a tourist fair was held in Cholpon-Ata city in the ethnocomplex «Rukh Ordo» named after Ch. Aitmatov.
