According to the survey, Talas and Naryn regions have the largest percentage of children — 40 percent of the population, the highest proportion of citizens aged 50 and older live in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul regions.
The average size of households in the surveyed regions made up 4.4 people. The highest rates are observed in and Batken regions — 6.1 and 5.4 respectively, the lowest — in Bishkek (2.8).
On average, there are 1.5 senior people per household.
