Russia expects to keep allied relations with Kyrgyzstan

 considers  as a reliable partner and expects that the allied relations between the two countries will continue. This was stated by the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin in  at a meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Chynybai Tursunbekov, RIA Novosti reported.

«We count on maintaining the continuity of the country’s foreign policy as a reliable strategic ally of ," Vyacheslav Volodin said at a meeting held within the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.

According to him, Russian-Kyrgyz relations are developing very dynamically in the most diverse areas and contacts between the two countries are carried out at different levels.

He recalled that a jubilee date was recently celebrated — 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between and . These relations, Vyacheslav Volodin said, have a «firm juridical base, basing on long historical ties, mutual respect and trust of our peoples.»

Chynybai Tursunbekov said that he hopes for an active continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation, including on the parliamentary line.
