Printing house, where 14 Kyrgyzstanis killed, fined at 6.6 million rubles

printing house «Printing Express," where a fire broke out in the summer of 2016, and its managing director will pay fines of 6.6 million rubles (about 7 million soms). TASS reported with reference to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.

«Based on the results of consideration of 30 decisions of the district prosecutor’s office, the printing house and its managing director were fined for a total of 6.6 million rubles for illegal employment of foreign citizens," the statement said.

Fire in one of the warehouses of the printing house on Altufevskoe highway in the north-east of  occurred on the morning of August 27, 2016. 17 people were killed, including 14 Kyrgyzstanis.

The prosecutor’s inspection revealed that the organization’s leadership employed citizens of  without drawing up employment contracts.

«By the decisions of the capital’s state labor inspectorate, the legal body and the official were also brought to administrative responsibility in the form of fines totaling 60,000 rubles," the agency added.
