Prosecutor General's Office files another lawsuit against Zanoza, its journalist

The Prosecutor General’s Office demands three million soms from journalist Naryn Aiyp. The supervisory authority also demands to recover other 3 million soms from Zanoza.kg. The third suit of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic was filed. Naryn Ayip informed 24.kg news agency.

The total amount of claims is 12 million soms. Moreover, the property of the journalist was sequestrated. It is about the article «Millions from the President: who really pays for the banquet?» published on October 22, 2015.

The Prosecutor General’s Office believes that in this material the author also hurts the honor and dignity of the President.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office, defending the honor and dignity of Almazbek Atambayev, filed two lawsuits against Zanoza.kg and radio Azattyk for a total of 26 million soms.
