Swimmers from Kyrgyzstan win 21 medals at tournament in Germany

Swimmers from Kyrgyzstan won 21 medals at the international tournament Berolina Cup, held yesterday in Berlin (Germany), the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports reported.

According to it, athletes from Germany, Russia, Poland, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the competition. Kyrgyzstanis won 15 gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

Three gold at different distances were won by Denis Petrashov, Vladislav Shuliko and Aziz Sansyzbaev, by two — Stanislav Karnaukhov and Temirlan Karataev.

Kirill Weiss and Ivan Panteleyev won one medal of the highest dignity each . Two silver medals were won by Nikita Paukov, by one — Ivan Panteleev and Elizaveta Rogozhnikova. Bronze — Artem Kamarda and Elizaveta Rogozhnikova. «The struggle for victory was in several age groups. None of our team was left without rewards," the Swimming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported to 24.kg news agency.
