SDMK not to extend guarantee fees term for Hajj

Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan will not extend the term of guarantee fees for Hajj. Muftiyat informed 24.kg news agency.

In his turn, journalist Ulukbek Babakulov says that this is a violation of the rights of believers and threatens to file a claim against SDMK to court.

In early February, the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported that registration of those wishing to perform Hajj in 2017 will last from February 6 till March 6. Those who wished to perform Hajj had to submit a package of documents, including a bank receipt for payment of a guarantee fee of $ 400.

However, on March 6, the account was already closed at the request of muftiyat: "We ask to suspend the prepayment from March 6 because of the end of the payment period on March 3," employee of the press service of RSK Bank quoted the letter.

SDMK noted that a meeting was held on this issue and a decision on its results would be made.

As of today, there are 4, 495 pilgrims, intending to perform Hajj in Kyrgyzstan.
